The Rules

Okay Fantasy Bachelorette Nation,

We are playing basically the same way we did for Juan pablo's season.

So for those of you that are new let me break down the basics of the rules for this season. Most importantly let me explain how to play!

1) You have to make a team in order to play... to do this just click here. (or follow the links)

2) Once I look over your team request I will put you up on the roster. "Your team name better amuse me *shakes fist*" (This may take a few hours)

3) Your next step will be to set your "lineup" (answer questions about what you think is going to happen). You can do that here or by following the 'set lineup' tab at the top of fantasybachelor.com

4) Sit back and enjoy the show. You must remember to set your lineup before the show airs. Each submission is time stamped so I know when you hit submit! *I am watching you gesture*

Clear as mud? ok so here is how the game works...

Each week you will compete against another team (just like fantasy football). You can see who you are playing under 'Matchups'. Whoever scores the most points out of the two teams wins. In case you missed fifth grade sports... winning is good :-)

The detailed results will be posted under score breakdown on the right side tab of fantasybachelor.com, and the overall scores will be posted on the scoreboard

When we reach hometown dates the Top 6 teams will advance to the playoffs. (playoff picture can be seen in the top tab of the page)

The top ranked teams will be determined by who has the most wins. In the event of a tie teams will be ranked by PF (points for... ie how many total points you have scored all season). If the result is still a tie PA (points against... ie how many points have been scored against you all season) will be used.

The top 2 teams will earn a first round bye. The playoff will be single elimination with the winner determined in the finale.

We will also have a losers bracket for those who do not make the playoffs, where instead of winners advancing each week the losers will... the winner (or rather loser) of the bracket will be crowned 'The Hopeless Romantic' and we will have have full rights to ridicule them for all eternity.

Ok thats a lot, call me with questions or concerns.

Geoff
